Lucca is currently the Music Director and Lead Instructor for Beginning and Advanced Choir, Theater Arts and Orchestra. She is devoted to work that combines her love of music, theater and education. Her diverse musical background includes over 15 years studying piano, voice, violin and guitar. As a music educator, she has over ten years experience teaching children choral singing, piano, guitar, and African drumming.

Her personal multi-disciplinary work explores a number of intersecting themes including femininity, race, the psyche, sorrow and ritual through intentional movement and immersive theater and sound. She holds a BA in psychology and music from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts and an MA in composition from Mills College where she refined her compositional and performance techniques under the tutelage of renowned experimental artists including Maggi Payne, Fred Frith, Nalini Ghulman, Willie Winant and Zeena Parkins.
