Your child must be enrolled at our current service site (Maya Lin School) for the 2020-2021 school year.
RETURNING STUDENTS: All returning students must re-register for next school year
Space is limited. New students are enrolled according to overall need, not on a first-come first-serve basis. Acceptance is not guaranteed. Returning students and their incoming siblings are given priority for re-enrollment until July 1st. Once all open spots are filled, additional submissions will be added to our waiting list. Families will be notified about their enrollment no later than July 15.
FINANCIAL AID: Bay Area Music Project seeks to ensure that all children have the opportunity to participate in music education regardless of circumstances. We offer scholarships for children from households qualifying for the federal free or reduced lunch program as well as anyone experiencing financial hardship but whose households have an annual income greater than the amount required to qualify for the free or reduced lunch program. To be considered, families must complete the financial aid application and provide supporting documents, including a tax return. If awarded a full tuition scholarship, your requiredenrollment fee (1 month tuition) will then be your total contribution for the year. Please be as clear and thorough on the application as possible. All information you provide is confidential and reviewed only by our board’s Scholarship Committee.
If you are applying for financial aid, please use the downloadable applications and submit with required documents.
The 2020-2021 program year is August 17 through June 9th.
Parent/Guardian must agree to accept responsibility for following the stated policies in the BAMP Family Handbook by signing the BAMP Handbook Rules and Regulations Acknowledgement Form (located on the last page of the BAMP Family Handbook). No instruments will be assigned to a student without a signed, returned form.
