Bay Area Music Project (BAMP) is an after-school music education program supporting the educational and social-emotional needs of children in lower-income communities by providing high-quality music instruction, nutritious snacks and homework assistance. Our staff embraces both the social and musical mission of our program — they nurture both the individual person and the musician at the same time.

About the Position Site Support Assistants are responsible for the on-site supervision and safety of Kindergarten to 5th-grade students throughout program components for Bay Area Music Project. The position requires patience, ability to engage positively and professionally with children and families, and strong organizational skills. The Site Assistant is a mentor to all students and reinforces rules of safety, kindness, and responsibility in the BAMP community and beyond.
