Intro to Ableton Live

Learn how to turn your musical ideas into finished tracks. Get hands-on with your DAW as you create beats and instrument parts, record live instruments and vocals, design your own sounds, and learn the fundamentals of mixing and production. From your first idea to the final mix, you’ll build the skills to create and share music that’s entirely your own.

Intermediate Ableton: Mixing & Recording

You know the basics. This is the part that turns a good track into a great one: mic placement, layering, EQ, compression, reverb, automation. Walk out with one fully mixed, finished song. DAW experience required.

Intro to Songwriting

A hands-on, two-week workshop for adults who want to turn their ideas into songs. Two consecutive Monday evenings exploring lyrics, melody, and song structure in an inclusive, affirming space. No prior experience needed, and all skill levels are welcome. Registration also includes our Songshare on Wednesday, September 30, 6:30–9:00 pm, where you can share what you’ve been working on, get feedback, and meet collaborators. Hosted by We Make Noise and Bay Area Music Project.
