BAMP is proud to partner with Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) to provide inspiring music education and essential life skills to the students of ​Life Academy of Health and Bioscience, a culturally public high school in Oakland, California.

Music Ex is an immersive, student-centered class that bridges connections between music making and social-emotional development. Guided by skilled and compassionate teaching artists, students engage with a diverse range of instruments, nurturing their natural curiosity and exploring their musical talents. Through hands-on experiences, they develop essential skills in perserverance and risk-taking, fostering creative expression and self-confidence. Furthermore, students have the opportunity to showcase their progress by performing for their classmates, building confidence and promoting a sense of camaraderie within the group.
