StringLab: the intersection of technology and creativity
StringLab is a dynamic music program that blends the study of classical string instruments with digital music technology, creating an immersive, project-based learning experience. Our program prepares aspiring musicians, composers and producers for a variety of career pathways in the music industry, including music production, sound engineering, and audio design. With a focus on creativity, experimentation, and innovation, StringLab equips students with the skills they need to succeed in today's rapidly evolving music technology landscape.
BAMP teaching artists work closely with students to co-design the program outcomes and curriculum, providing a framework that empowers students to pursue their interests and passions. Our modern approach to music-making fosters independent and creative thinking skills that are essential for success in any music industry career path. By creating relevant and meaningful art, while learning to listen, think critically, and take intellectual risks, students are prepared to excel and make a meaningful impact in their chosen field.
